While working on concepts for a Black Friday direct mailing piece. I shared with the agencies Buick Creative director an idea of using a clever fold that transitioned between Black Friday and Buick Friday. The idea wasn’t used for the direct mail piece but found its way to become a Buick TV end-tag. The idea allows Buick to break through the Black Friday clutter and own the day through a simple typographic solution.
